Indispensable criminal law study aid.

This book matched perfectly with the way our class was taught. It is an incredibly effective study aid, even if you are taking an all-essay test. Highly recommend this book - I learned more crim doctrine in 24 hours from this than I did all semester. Has great notes about policy too - e.g. pros and cons of the felony murder doctrine. Crim has lots of common law, so you don't need to master landmark cases like you do in some other subjects. So for most professors, case names don't matter. Applying law itself does. This book will make sure you are ready to do that.

While this book is mostly correct, there are some chapters where the book grievously misstated the law. If you buy this book, always make sure that it correlates with what your professor is teaching or you risk being wrong when it comes to the final. In the end, always follow what your professor or case book states if it conflicts with this book
