I love this cookbook

I love this cookbook! So rare and wonderful to find a vegan, gluten-free and refined-sugars-free cookbook that has so many appealing dishes and creative ideas. Plus the photography and overall styling is outstanding. I've made a few recipes so far that have turned out great and hope to make many more.

Beautiful book but recipes not well tested or reliable

I bought this book because I absolutely loved the styling and eat a mostly vegetable based diet. I've made four of the recipes so far and have been a bit disappointed - it just feels like the recipes haven't been properly tested. Which is always frustrating, but particularly when a recipe has expensive ingredients. Of the four; the broccolini salad was a hit ; the miso eggplant + soba was far far far too salty (even after reducing the tamari and sesame) ; the chia pudding had too much liquid and didn't set and the flaxseed crackers were yummy but took 6h rather than 12h to cook. I'm going to continue to work my way through it but I'm a bit nervous to try anything that will be a big time/cost commitment. The final note is that the foreword thanks Belle Gibson (a complete fraud who stole from Australian brain cancer charities) - not the authors fault obviously, but made me question the book more.

Not For Everyone

This cookbook struck me as one for the affluent and not for the everyday cook. Too many costly ingredients. Not for me.
